Our Story

Elizabeth and Sarah both started their broadcast careers on the hallowed second floor of Television Centre when you could still pop to the BBC Club for a cheeky pint of coke (hold the ice) during a night shift. As Sarah toiled away as overnight editor on radio 4's Today programme and Elizabeth attempted to get 5Live's Wake Up To Money in shape, they came to realise they shared a passion for creative storytelling and an appreciation of the finer aspects of audio production. And yes, it really IS that interesting.

As their careers progresssed, Sarah started to specialise in long-form audio storytelling as features editor on the BBC World Service radio's Business Daily progamme and then as a BBC radio documentary producer and editor. Elizabeth meanwhile, took every reporting opportunity she got, presenting and producing on-air pieces for Radio 4's From Our Own Correspondent, The World at One and PM. LIttle did they know they would re-unite a few years later on Business Daily as a features dream team, making programmes as varied as the 'Economics of Time' to the 'History of Bread.'

Fast forward to post-pandemic times and Sarah has continued making documentaries for the BBC but has widended her production and editing scope, making podcasts for The Economist, The World Bank and The Whitley Fund for Nature. Meanwhile, Elizabeth combines producing and presenting Business Daily with producing podcasts for Hargreaves Lansdown and Vogue magazine. She has also made and presented the 'Greedy Little Podcast' series.

Elizabeth and Sarah are now entering a new chapter in their audio storytelling lives and would love to help you on your own journey. As two very creative - and experienced - audio makers we are uniquely placed to help make your own stories come to life.
